This blend, made especially for pulling espresso, is sweet and complex with a velvety body. Pope Clement VIII is a blend of hand picked Arabica beans ethically sourced from farms in Brazil, Costa Rica and Indonesia. Our blend offers a vibrant espresso with berry and stone fruit aromas.

In 1600, to discourage coffee consumption, Pope Clement VIII was asked to publicly condemn it. He asked to taste it in order to form an objective opinion. In tasting coffee he had a moment of clarity which became known as the baptism of coffee. Italian coffee culture was not only born, but blessed, with the Pope's blessing.
