Kivu Great Explorer is a light to medium roast to bring out the fruity flavours of this coffee we have sourced from Rwanda from a collective of farmers with the beans hulled, graded and hand sorted at the Rwanda Trading Company in Kigali.
 
Small scale growing is commonplace in Rwanda with around 400,000 growers. Its landlocked nature results in a high export costs resulting in growers striving to achieve the highest quality cherries which we use to make Limmu.
